UK YCC has a new face, and it’s a handsome one!

(Sorry Matt… I couldn’t resist!)

You might remember seeing him here, Matt is the new UK YCC Action Coordinator and he’ll be working on bringing as many young people to the Global Day of Action on Climate Change on December 6th (put it in the diary!).

While Emma and I are in Poland at the UN Climate talks, Matt will be demonstrating just how many people support real action on climate change. It is vital that the negotiators know that the public will not accept failure on carbon reductions, demand new green jobs and massive investment in renewable energy - and Matt will be mobilising huge numbers of young people to be there to prove it!

He’s currently in his final year at Oxford, is a talented linguist and keen birdwatcher - what a combination!
